ABOUT

ABOUT

Safety has always been a watchword for the waste industry, whether it is protecting workers and visitors on sites or keeping collection crews safe from harm as they complete their rounds. Great strides have been made in recent years in improving the waste and resources industry’s safety record, but more can be done to bring the sector closer to becoming a zero-harm environment.

The Health & Safety Conference will offer delegates an opportunity to hear about the latest work taking place to improve the health and safety culture within the waste and recycling sector. Topics covered will include moving forward through coronavirus pandemic and coping with COVID-19, conflict avoidance, mental health and work being done to tackle runaway vehicles.
