With the reform of packaging recycling, local authorities, recyclers, brand owners and compliance schemes are embarking on a new journey. The challenge is to deliver and work within a packaging waste system which will be mixed with the huge new requirement of fully funding local authority recycling collections delivered in a 'consistent' approach. Alongside these aims will be the introduction of a deposit return (DRS) system which will impact on both brand owners and local authorities.
The Resources and Waste Strategy Unwrapped Conference, brought to you by letsrecycle.com, will provide the first opportunity to meet and find out more of what is planned, as well as offering key networking and question and answer sessions.
